GULF COAST HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL- Thurs 4pm-9pm Balloon Glow event; Fri/Sat 11am-10pm Festival, OWA Theme Parks & Resort

The 20th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival showcases over 50 balloons from across the nation. There will be family activities during the day, then Tethered Rides & Balloon Glow (weather & wind permitting) from 7:30pm-9pm Friday and Saturday. 

Morning flights are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM, before the festival opens.  CLICK HERE

ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN- Fri 8pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre

ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN performed by GARY MULLEN & THE WORKS is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time. CLICK HERE 

GULF COAST BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP- Sat 11am-3pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile

This is a Backyard BBQ cook-off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Enjoy BBQ samples from the competition teams, live music, and activities for the kids. Hosted by The 50 Foundation, an Epilepsy Awareness Foundation that supports individuals and research involved with Epilepsy. DERBY DAYZ - Sat 3pm-7pm, Oak Hollow Farm, Fairhope

Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon that will make your heart race! You will enjoy horse races, live auctions, delicious food and drinks throughout the afternoon, culminating with a viewing of the Kentucky Derby. Proceeds support Kidz Eatz and their mission to provide weekend backpack food for local children. CLICK HERE

It’s the return of one of our favorite “holidays” at the Exploreum, with special, space-themed activities for all ages. Featuring Droid Robotics in the Hands on Hall gallery.

MOVIES IN THE PARK: The Little Mermaid - Sat 6pm ( Pre-show activities begin at 6 p.m. Movies begin at sunset), Community Maritime Park, Pensacola

Bring your blankets and chairs then spread out on the lawn to watch a FREE family-friendly movie underneath the stars. Movies are shown at the Hunter Amphitheater with grass seating only.  CLICK HERE  

SPRING MOVIES IN THE PARK: Puss ‘N Boots The Last Wish- Thurs 6pm, Newhouse Community Center

Join the City of Mobile Parks & Recreation Department for Movies in the Park this spring! This is a free event in which you can hang out, play games, snack, and watch movies with us. Movies in the Park includes screenings of eight different movies in four different parks and community centers. All indoor events will begin at 6 p.m., and all outdoor events will begin at sunset.  CLICK HERE   

BLUES ON THE BAY: STILL STANDING, A TRIBUTE TO ELTON JOHN- Sun 6pm, Community Maritime Park, Pensacola
